Alared Technologies publishes guides, comparisons and build advice for computers, phones, components and accessories. This page explains exactly how those articles are made, including where AI is involved.
What we do and do not do
- We research, we do not lab-test. Our articles compare products using manufacturer specifications, standards documents and published measurements from reviewers who test hands-on. When a claim comes from someone else’s testing, we say so and link to it.
- Every number has a source. Specs, prices, dates and compatibility claims link to the page they came from, and every article ends with a full source list.
- No paid rankings. Brands cannot pay to appear in or change a comparison. The site is funded by display advertising, which never influences which product we recommend.
How an article is made
- Topic. We choose topics from what readers search for and what questions existing articles leave unanswered.
- Research. An AI research assistant (Claude, by Anthropic) searches manufacturer pages, standards bodies and reputable reviews, and records the source for each fact.
- Draft. The assistant drafts the article using only the researched facts, following our style guide.
- Automated fact-check. A separate pass re-checks every spec, price and date against primary sources and flags anything wrong, outdated or unconfirmed.
- Human review. An editor reviews the flagged items and the sources, edits the draft and approves it. Nothing is published automatically; the site will not let an AI draft go live until an editor has signed it off.
- Updates. Tech changes fast. We re-check articles when new models launch or prices move, and the “Updated” date on each article shows the latest revision.
